When visiting this website, the web server writes log files, containing the information of the visitors IP-address, timestamp, URL, HTTP protocol, HTTP status, amount of transferred bytes, referrer URL (the previously visited website) as well the operating system and browser. In the guestbook a visitor of the website can leave a guestbook entry by entering their name and a message. Both, the name and the message can contain personal information. The server determines the state (for example "California" or "Ohio") and the country (for example "United States" or "Germany") of the person who enters the entry based on the IP address of the person's computer at the time of submitting the entry. The name, message and determined state and country of all entries are displayed for other visitors. The purpose of the guestbook is to send a gretting message to the wedding couple Danielle and Robert Howard, as well as to all other visitors of this website. Submitting an entry to the guestbook is voluntary. If a person would like to get their entry deleted, they can request a deletion of their entry (including all personal data related to the entry) via email to delete (at) danielleandrob.com.
To let the wedding couple Danielle and Robert Howard know if a guest can attend their wedding, an RSVP form can be filled out and send. After submitting the form, the server only processes the entered information to send it via e-mail to the wedding couple's email address. The wedding couple's email account is a third party and not part of this website or server. Non of the provided information in the RSVP form is stored on this server. The usage of the RSVP form is voluntary.
